Nicolas & Kimberly Souren
Kimberly Souren, born in Salem, Oregon to parents who were flying trapeze artistes and winners of the 1976 Circus World Championships held in London, England. At the age of 19 she started her single trapeze career and has continued the family tradition of aerial excellence ever since. She is one of a handful of aerialists to hang from the trapeze by her heels, and one of a select few performing without any safety devises.
Nicolas Souren, born in California to French parents. Nicolas started performing at the age of 9 as a bareback horse rider and acrobat. He debuted his juggling act at the age of 17 and has become one of a select few jugglers to juggle 10 rings. Nicolas won silver at the 2001 IJA Juggling Championships for his act and took gold in their Ring Juggling Competition the same year. Later, he was voted best act in France 2008, while working for Cirque Achille Zavatta.
